With summer only a few weeks away, I’ve been craving colorful prints and resort-inspired clothes. Trina Turk and Banana Republic have teamed up to bring both of these things to a Banana Republic store near you. A few select pieces from this vibrant collection can be found on Gilt today or shop the entire collection in stores next week – June 7th to be exact.

This weekend Bobby and I are headed to the beach! Having grown up in a beach town, I never realized all of the stuff that is need in preparation for the trip. I’ve always had everything I needed in my car, ready to go! Living in a small city apartment has greatly reduced the amount of beach appropriate items I keep on hand. So before I head out of town, I’m going shopping. Here’s my list…

Target has a variety of beach towels for around $10. Several of these are on sale right now for $5!

This is the one thing I did already have. I never leave home without SPF, and this Neutrogena Dry-Touch Sunblock is fantastic!

I loved this floral blazer on Emily last week. Although it’s unique, I can really envision it going with a multitude of outfits well into the summer season. Since her Rebecca Minkoff version is slightly out of my budget (and luckily sold out), I found a similar style while perusing Zara’s website.
